I'm working on project as a 1099 in my own office, my own scheduled hours and tools designed a database which the company will market nationally.
I'm paid as a 1099 NOT a W2 by this company.
The weekly work completed documentaton contains a statement of work involving an agreed Proposal Estimate, Invoice and Timesheet approved and paid bi-weekly. Weekly status report defining work completed.
The company agrees verbally that I own the database.
Since I'm the designer and owner of the database I desire to received
some compensation for the design.
What can I do to aquire compensation for my design?
The company only wants to pay me weekly and no compensation for the design.
What is the simplist approach?
