    Does anyone know how many points speed racing tickets are worth in Oregon? Are the points the same for insurance as well as DMV records? One more question, how many points does it take to get a licence suspended? I was told by one person that his insurance co. counts speed racing as 4 points.

    How about some advice: whether or not to plead "No Contest" or "Not Guilty" on a speed racing ticket in an attempt to down-grade it to a speeding ticket... Do you think the judge would be more sympathetic to one plea v.s. the other?

    Do you know if Oregon uses the deferment/ probation option? When does a person ask for deferment or probation? Is it after pleading guilty/not guilty? I am asking this because I just received a Speed Racing ticket. I need to find out the options I have when I go to court.
