Thankfully, I was found not guilty to 2 counts of "assault" on my ex girlfriend. she knew I didnt do it, it was a false allegation.
This has been a very stressful and emotional time for 8 months. Now, its time for a civil/law suit against her for what she has done.

The defendant isnt stupid and knows that there is no contact being made, from his side anyway. It's just stupid as he pretty much has been shoved into a corner against his will and people are trampling all over him unnecessarily.

indeed the defendant knows this very well but what does not make sense is why the alleged victim is trying to contact an ex friend of the defendant, someone who have had no contact in the past, do not know each other etc....

a friend's unfortunate situation is being spirraled even more out of control.
their accuser is their ex partner who has scared the life out of him for something they did not do all because of a bad ending of a relationship which was her fault (in complete honesty) and her friends added fuel...

I did find someone else however the solicitor today (after a week long last week trying to get one of them to ring me or talk to them) said they wouldnt advise it and that they have always used her and trust her....
plus said that the are not really wanting to be...
what is the job of the barrister? What do they do in the court proceedings?
I am apperently only allowed to see the barrister once, for 2 hours which I have had done but did not like it at all. This was to "prepare" for a PCMH (where you plea guilty/not guilty) however the barrister did not go...

I have been unfortunately accused of something so horrific and have been charged with and now is going to the court.

I got hold of the advanced disclosure papers.
Even though it was read to me by the solicitor, and I couldn't believe everything i was in complete shock, distress and tears.
Anyway, a month later or so I got the papers and was reading through them yesterday when I got them.
