Oh my, it rained today. First rainfall in months.

Son is supposed to be getting married in a beach wedding Sunday. Pray for no rain.

I forgot to ask. Did your son and his intended have a rain free ceremony?

Thank you for asking! Yes, it was warm and just slightly too much humidity but not enough to be really uncomfortable, just enough to enjoy the breezes. It was cloudy but we didn't get any rain. It was a beautiful ceremony, performed by the bride's brother and facing the beach. It couldn't have been lovelier.

Wonderful, I'm pleased to hear the new couple are hitched, and I'm sure they'll have a blessed, happy, lasting marriage. For you, my friend @cbg you'll be another happy grandmother with your grandchildren over the decades. I loved being a dad, but I'm over the moon as a grandpappy.

Yes, crops need it, trees need it for fall foliage, plus rain cleanses nature.

They did things a bit out of the traditional order; they announced the engagement, then a pregnancy, had the baby, and had the wedding, in that order, so I am already a grandma and loving every minute of it! Our granddaughter is going to be spoiled rotten by her grandfather, who just can't get enough of cuddling his princess!

Being a parent was challenging at times. When I became a grandpappy, it was an easy gig. Years later, being a grandparent I learned was a breeze. Who knew? Not me right away, over time I soon learned just how easy grandparenting is. As my charges grew older, it got even easier.
