The Heat is Here, Enjoy!

Humid heat, I melt at 80. Dry heat, I melt at 85. And when I say melt, I mean I can't function without air conditioning or at least a very large fan. I'm a northern girl, what can I say?

Phoenix was the last one off the retirement list before we finally settled on Maine. We eliminated North Carolina, Colorado, the Pacific Northwest for various reasons but we hated to let go of Phoenix We finally did just because even with air conditioning, that kind of heat would kill me.
I turn red. Bright red. Not sunburned. Just... red. It was 65 when I got up at 7... 77 now (11:30am)... Sorry.

Over the years I have had many visits to NYC to visit family, occasionally in the winter which reminded me (as if I needed reminding) of why I left. Snow. Temps in the teens. Fageddaboudit. Like the song says "Gimmee the heat boys and free my soul."
