My friend is a citizen of Poland and has been a U.S. "permanent resident" since her arrival here in 1985. In 1990, she committed an aggravated felony (murder), for which she has been incarcerated ever since. Projected release date is 2018. Is her deportation: a) certain?, b) probable (51-99% likely)?, or possible (1-50% likely)?
Also, if deported, for how many years will she be prohibited from visiting the U.S.?

Why don't you pose your question to the immigration authorities? What have they told her?

Besides, if she is deported, which is likely; you could go with her. Poland isn't a bad country. It is also incredibly cheap to live there.
