I went and broadcasted myself masturbating on my webcam on c.com. I have now discovered that a user of cam4.com recorded me and uploaded me to h-tube.com without my permission. What is worse is that they are asking users of that site for money in the form of paid membership to view the video of me, and all of this is without my authorization or permission.

What can I do to get my video removed, and what action can be taken against h-tube.com which mainly makes money out of unauthorised sexual recordings of teenaged guys?

Pretty much nothing.... you gave up control of that when you decided to publicly broadcast it.

Tell your mommy and daddy, I'm sure they'll be very proud of you.

When they learn how you exploited yourself (by certifying that you are at least 18 years of age), they'll hire the best lawyer in your city and sue those perverts.

Yeah, that's it, tell your mommy and daddy how you take videoes of yourself choking your chicken's neck!!!

But, make sure you don't leave out the part about you lying about your age to post them online!

Hi, I had the same problem with video hostings. Just email them with the link to video and ask to remove it as a copyright holder. It should take not more than 48 hours
    good luck

I can't believe that people actually volunteer to post explicit videos of themselves engaging in rather "compromising" behavior(s).

army judge - it just shocks me why it would appeal to anyone to do this  , but apparently there are many people who really enjoy sharing their moments that others might consider extremely private.

Demarko gives the same advice I have given to others - write a takedown notice. Here is a short guide to writing a takedown notice. Here are the terms of use from the original site which you streamed your video:

For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights in your User-Submitted Content, and viewers are granted nothing more than the right to view your submissions. However, by submitting User-Submitted Content to Cam4, you hereby grant Cam4 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User-Submitted Content in connection with the Cam4 service and Cam4's (and its successors' and affiliates') business, including, without limitation, to promote and redistribute part or all of the Cam4 Site (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also hereby grant each viewer of the Cam4 Site a non-exclusive license to access your User-Submitted Content through the Site, and to use, display and perform such User-Submitted Content as permitted through the functionality of the Site and under these Terms of Use. The above licenses granted by you are perpetual and irrevocable.

Other than the Cam site's ability to use your content, probably for purposes you didn't contemplate (such as potentially advertisement of their service), members are limited to watching and not to redistributing to other sites - at least that's what it seems on first glance.

It appears that many of the guys on homeboystube seem to be underage. That website should be taken down and the owner and people doing the recording should be prosecuted and jailed for making and distributing child pornography.

Further more, if the owner of the website is making a business out of secretly recording teenagers performing sexual acts in chat rooms, without the teenagers knowledge or permission, then the U.S.C 2257 Record Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement on that website is meaningless because the owner has not verified the age of the teenager(s) who have been secretly recorded.

If the videos there are taken from cam4, then the same situation with cam4, because the same boys = the same age, aren't they? But if the boys at cam4 are 18+ then they are 18+ at website you're talking about. The are the lot of similiar websites on the Net today - boyztube.com, sharethatboy.com, etc. Most of them even don't remove logo of cam4 or another websites..

When I had my case with videohosting, I learned their terms of service - the uploaders take the responsibility of uploading the videos and declare that all models appearing there are of a legal age. Uploaders are the evil, cam4 allows them to record, so they record and upload. Youtube.com allows anyone to upload their videos too. I think it showed the way. Uploaders post videos to torrents and forums too. That's the main problem :(

That statement is simply not true because Cam4 is a place where users broadcast live and not a video hosting site like xtube. In order to first broadcast on cam4 a user does not need to verify their age. However, I do believe that Cam4 does frequently delete broadcasters who appear to look underage and ask for age verification documents before their accounts are re-instated. This is clearly not the case with homeboystube which appears to be a hub containing a lot of child pornography.

I can't verify the authenticity of what I'm about to post.

I can say that I've been told by several people, that SOME of those sites are over seen by law enforcement authorities.

Those law enforcement authorities tend to be federal agencies or federally funded.

I've never been to any of those sites, and don't intend to ever frequent one.

I won't even go just to verify the stories I've been told.

Common sense tells me that there could be a scintilla of truth in the accounts reported to me.
