Out-of-State Ticket issue with License Renewal

Hi,
I can't renew my license in California due to 2 traffic tickets in El Paso Texas, I hired a lawyer to fight the tickets and I guess he lost. So 10 years later this is the first I hear about it. Is there anything I can do to get the tickets reduced or perhaps fight them?

You might want to contact the court in Texas. Find out what they say you owe. Before much else can happen, you'll have to pay any fines, fees, and costs.

I spoke to the municipal court in El Paso, as you said I have to pay all the fines, fees, and costs (including collection fees) it's a bummer that I hired the lawyer and nothing came out of it. They said there is no way to fight it. Kinda bummed at this point.

10 years later is a bit too late. It is unfortunate the attorney didn't get it dismissed for you, but honestly, you should have followed up at the time. You may have had more options back then.
