Our grandchildren were placed in Temporary Custody with a nonrelative. The court placed them there, stating that our home study was not yet complete. The nonrelative who was granted temporary custody, has informed CPS that they are "backing out". CPS is looking to place them in fostercare. Our son & his wife has stated that they do not want the kids placed in our home. How much "weight" does their request have, when CPS is moving forward to terminate their parental rights? What can we do?
