My sister has failed to execute my mother's will as she has retained all assets for over seven years. Is there a time limit? Do I have options?

You need a lawyer to do this.

Yes, there is a statute of limitations, but that isn't necessarily your major problem.

If the will was never filed, how can you PROVE there was ever a will?

Don't worry about telling me, I don't acre, and I'm not a judge in PA.

Make a couple appointments with probate or estate lawyers in your county.

Then go discuss this with them.

Once you get informed, then you can make smart choices.

Good luck...

You really shouldn't have waited so long to do something but talk to a lawyer that handles wills/probate & see what they say.
