I bought a house 3/2011 did a inspection- the house is perfect- 1 owner before me.
Today I got a letter from the city they said, the awning on the side and the back porch are in violation because there was never a building permit when it was done ( nothing is wrong with the stucture).
They want floor plans and the blue prints of all of the work? or tear it all down.
I dont have any of this as I was not the one that was here when the house was redone.
does anyone know what the law is or where I can research this sort of thing?
