Hi! I hope I can get some quick advice.
I work for a communications company and I have been there for seven years.
I and two other fellow employees were eating in a lunch room at another company that we were doing work for when a person came up and asked for our names. We later found out that someone had complained that we made a comment either directly or indirectly of a sexual matter and they or that person complained. I know that I made no such comment what rights or action of recourse do I have if my employer takes action against us?
Do I have any rights either against the company we were at or the company I work for?

Why are you so concerned with suing the company? I'd probably be more concerned with the person that made the false remark which the company may justify it's actions.
