Wrong title

I bought a car from a private person, I was given a title for the same exact vehicle only thing different is the vin numbers don't match I have tried to get the correct title but she never answers my calls. What can I do. I now have a title in my name to a car that I don't have.

You might want to report your unusual findings to the police. More than likely you've been scammed!!!

Hopefully you have a bill of sale at least that has the correct vin number to the vehicle
that is in your possession. Otherwise, you may have difficulty proving that you actually purchased the vehicle that you currently have. Try the police first, but you may need to get a lawyer involved. You can also bring all of your documentation to the DMV and see if they can assist you. You may be in possession of a stolen vehicle.
