Have a happy and safe New Years! It's hard to believe that this century is now a quarter done. It's gone by so fast that it feels like its just barely gotten going. I'm hoping the next quarter century will be better than the last.
 
I find it interesting how we perceive time.

The future is so far away but the past flew by in an instant.
It only appears that way, but we live it one day at a time (just 24 hours).

"Tomorrow" refers to the day following today, symbolizing future potential, while "Yesterday" indicates the day preceding today, representing past events. Key Differences "Tomorrow" embodies the concept of the future, a time yet to come, offering new opportunities and experiences.

But tomorrow never comes because today takes its place. Before you know it, 365 todays have come and gone but no tomorrow. ;)

I adopted the above philosophy about 6 months into my first tour in Nam. That was during the summer of 1966.

I've never regretted that choice.

The only thing I do is an adaptation of it.

Each morning, when I open my eyes, I thank God Almighty for allowing me another day to get things right, and my Savior Jesus, along with my Guardian Angel for bringing me through some very difficult events and challenges.

By the way, you're correct in your attribution of the quote, as having derived from Groucho Marx.
