i fell through a hole in the roof i was working on,people are throwing the issue at who is responsible for not marking the hole and not securing the plywood over the hole, my question is what responsibilty does the general contractor have on this, i assume they had to oversee every sub-contractors work and walk the job site to keep an eye out for any safety issues,thank you

Throw the responsibility to the general contractor then.
