I had an open contested DN case that was amended and dismissed by a judge without having a hearing set on the matter. My children were "placed" with their non- custodial birth father. the judge aloud the dismissal to supersede my open DR case as well, leaving me with no visitation. I have been a single mother for 9 years and now i am not even sure if i am aloud contact with my children. I am under the impression that my parenting rights have not been taken away. What would be my next step in the paperwork filing process? And what is the definition of placement as it pertains to this case?
