Based on the information you provided, I would guess that it is a dismissal notice of some sort.

 

What does "listed on a civil trial" mean?

Regardless, one would assume it refers to a dismissal pursuant to Rule 1.944 of the Iowa Rules of Civil Procedure (the rule is at page 76 of the linked PDF).

 

It's actually Page 66 if you look at the page numbers in the document itself and not the page numbers on the PDF window.

"Rule 1.944 Uniform rule for dismissal for want of prosecution."

Means that somebody didn't pursue the lawsuit in a timely manner and it was dismissed.

 

Here's the cut n paste from the Iowa Online courts site. So what happened here, the plaintiff did not get the defendant in court in a timely matter (1 yr) and the court automatically Dismissed the case?
