Kids got adopted by the maternal grandparents because of drugs. Now father is clean and sober and wants to see the kids. How can he go about getting some form of visitation?

If children were adopted then parental rights were removed. This means he has no children legally. However the easiest solution is to ask the adopted family if he can see children.

You might not want to broach this subject, unless you have a good relationship with your grandparents.
As stated previously, you have no legal children.
Its sad, but sometimes we learn too late!

Did he ask the grandparents if he could see the children? They (grandparents) rule.
