My fiance is an immigrant from Mexico. He came here when he was 10 on a tourist visa (10 years ago) to his parent's accord. Now we are engaged and wish to marry, but the problem is that we have no place to live. My brother, his wife, and child live with my parents and my fiance's father is biggest you know what north of the border (And probably south too) and says he doesn't want to help him at all, so moving into his parent's house is out of the question. My fiance can't make enough money to support us living together. He needs papers in order to get a better paying job. I would work, but I suffer from health problems that usually results with me being in the hospital and my employers forcing me to quit.

I want to know if my fiance and I could marry and if he could get a work visa before we move in together and how long it would take to acquire the work visa.

Under today's immigration laws, what you desire is highly unlikely.

Or at best, very difficult.

Add to the mix that your intended is here illegally and unable to support himself!!!

That will not impress the right people, will it?

Heck, his own father doesn't want to help him, either!!!

You might want to cut your losses.

But, if you still want to hang in there, you can try.

Things just might turn out the way you wish.

Miracles are happening everyday for someone!!!
