Want to get custody of my child

I am in the military and got divorced to my ex 3 years ago at that time I was stationed in Augusta Ga which is 4 hours away. I have recently been reassigned to SC near Myrtle Beach which is 8 hrs away My divorce decree says me and my ex are suppose to meet half way to get my child. She refuses to do stating she doesn't have any money. I pay her 80$ more than what court said to pay for child support and have never missed a payment to her. and on top of all that she doesn't have a job and stays with her boyfriend and I dont know what he does. I am not saying she is a bad parent or anything but she hasn't really had a job since our divorce. She has been moving in and out of peoples homes since we divorced. I have even rented one of my houses out to her and she still couldn't keep up with bills. Is there a way I can try and get custody being that my living situation is more stable. Me and my current wife both have jobs.

Not sure but you do not have to pay her anything above what current guidelines adn your order says.

Although your order says you meet halfway, since you are moving even further not sure how enforceable that will be but you need to file contempt if mom is not meeting halfway. Since you are moving further away it sounds like this needs to be re-visited in court. Your chances of custody probably are not very good but you'll need to talk to an attorney about it.
