I'm just asking because I have seen it up here a few times but nothing in my court order discusses visitation costs.
How do they determine who needs to pay for transportation?
My daughter and I reside in AZ, which is where she was born. Her father will be stationed in Hawaii starting this month and for the next 2 years. His real state of residence is NJ, but according to the courts and/or military it's Florida.
He is only allowed supervised visits right now. But will I eventually have to pay to have him see my daughter? I don't know when or how I'd ever be able to afford a plane ticket to Hawaii... or to anywhere else for that matter.
I went Pro Per in our court proceedings, my ex had a lawyer - but there is NO mention of this whatsoever in our court orders.
Do I need to go back to have it modified? Or should I just leave it as it is?
I'm not sure how many visits there will actually be, but I'm hoping that he takes an interest in his daughter. He will be seeing her next month, but he's coming to AZ for that.
