Videotaping without consent

What are the statutes regarding videotaping without consent, especially children, then posting the videos on the internet?

I have a friend who was denied a job because of a video, secretly taped of him, that was posted on the internet.

Please help!!!!

I, too, would be curious about the details.

Absent details: In general, videotaping someone in a public place or where you have a lawful right to be and then posting it on the internet is not going to be a (legal) problem.
