I met with a guy to purchse his vehicle and after inspecting it and test driving it began to negotiate a price. We settled on $4,900 for his 2002 Mustang. We both agreed to the price, shook hands, and agreed to commence the actual paperwork Monday morning (this happened on a Saturday). A friend of mine was there and witnessed the entire experience/conversation described above. In hindsight I obviously should have been ready to put pen to paper but is there any remedy to enforce this deal? He has stopped awnsering my calls and e-mails and I have his phone number and home address. I have a witness to the verbal agreement and am willing to go to court if this is in fact enforceable.
