My wife and her ex-husband are "tenants by the entirety" on an "interval deed" for a timeshare in New Jersey. He will not co-operate to unload the deed. Can my wife register a quit claim deed making him the sole owner? Can she do this without his participation? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Anyone can file a quit claim.
The problem is, it usually is meaningless.

Any suggestions about what my wife should do to rid herself of this responsibility. I did not know that quit claim deeds are useless. Why is that?
Thank you.
