I was hired for a pizza delivery job before i was convicted of anything, and i just got fired on wednesday june 4th and when i asked how they got this information they told me that it was a random background check and i talked to a former police officer and he told me that they don't do background checks where i applied. i wanted to know if this is something i can sue over?

In most states you can be fired for almost any reason except protected by the EEOC. Court records are a matter of public record, so all someone has to do is go online and many courts have records right online. There is nothing against the law in doing that.
