Is there anything that can be done against a union if they are preventing employees from getting Promoted?
The Issue
Me and others in our local were asked to move to another postion and me and other employees excepted the postion. Our local union is telling our company no they cant be promoted because it will cause to much trouble. The other locals reps have been promoted already and our local is holding use back. We pay union dues and they never call us back or help on any issues. I am locatred in California if that makes a difference, in Los Angeles area.
IS there anything to counter act the union?
