We own LLC in Missouri that is an animal health supplies website. After trying to take over the business, unsuccessfully and illegally, the former partners have accessed our database and have been sending out unauthorized emails to our customers. Are there any statutes against this? I have tried to research this but have not had any luck. Thanks in advance for your help.

Unauthorized access to customer database

Why not go to civil court and get an injunction against them as well as sue them for damages? With regard to criminal liability, this is trespass. If you are able to get them prosecuted, you would want to wait for a criminal conviction in order to ensure your civil case is a slam dunk.
