I normally work 8 -5 with overtime that varies. I am going to north Carolina for some training for work and I'm curious what they are required to pay me for.. i fly out on a Sunday at 515 and land at 9pm. Than I rent a car and have an hour drive to my hotel. I'm in class for 3 days from 8-5 so obviously I'm paid for that. I get out of class at 5 pm on Wednesday, drive an hour and catch a plane at 730 land at 1130. I know my employer is only planning on paying me for the 3 days 8-5 . But what are they actually required to pay me for?
