My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California

Story: I was speeding home on US-50 by 20 mph above the posted speed limit of 65 mph at 2:40 am from El Dorado Hills trying to get home to a warm and cozy bed.

At the time of the traffic ticket citation, I was a minor (17 years old) and only had a driver's permit.

The traffic ticket states violations:
12500(a) No License; non-correctable - misdemeanor
22349(a) Speed #1 Lane; non-correctable - infraction

The court date on the traffic citation ticket is past the time I turn 18 and I can take my driver's test for my license 3 months before the court date.

Questions:
1. How many points will I receive on my license when I receive it.
2. What can I do to remove the points that I will receive.
3. What can I do to make all punishments minimal.
4. Will I be able to appear in court alone with a parent or guardian because I turn 18 before the court date.
5. Any advice or extra help would be extremely appreciated.

You're probably going to lose your driving privilege for a couple years.
This is going to cost you money, and time in the penalty box.
When your restrictions are lifted, you'll have great difficulty getting auto insurance.
Forget points, that won't matter because you won't get an opportunity to obtain your license until you're 20, maybe 21 years of age.
I suggest you discuss this with your parents.
You should ask the court if your parents are required to appear with you.

You might be able to limit the damages by HIRING a lawyer, otherwise FREE Internet advice is useless to someone in your tenuous predicament.
