We are creating a browser toolbar that once installed, will add content to the current webpage being viewed. I've seen this done many times (especially google search results), but I would like to know the surrounding issues.

After reading my post, I sound like I'm creating one of the many "spammy" or "hijacking" toolbars out there. Please note, this is not the case. Specifically, we are adding links to the current page. These links are suggested or customized by the user.
