Threatened into compliance.

I was terminated two days ago. I was "threatened" into telling them I would pay money I "supposedly" took and had today to pay it back or else they were going to press charges to the fullest. I admitted to what I did, but not to what they were stating I did. I made that clear. The cops were not present and I have a HUGE issue going down for something I didnt do. Question: Can they call the police for not having concrete evidence? Just on "what they think"...they had me thinking I actually did these acts when I walked out of the room...talk about peer pressure!!

Sure they can. It would then be up to you and your attorney to defend the charges and or convince a judge you did not take the money.
