my sisters 3 kids have been taken into care and being put up for adoption,i put my name forward for custody but was refused cos im only young n may want kids of my own even tho i have told them it is v unlikely as i have PCO and another reason was cos i have a bad relationship in my past, i was told that my sisters solicitor could fight for the kids to come to me but he says it dont work that way,these kids are my life,i looked after them n raised them for a majority of years what can i do to get custody i will do anything PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Though this is really a board focusing on US law, I can answer your question.

If you've already been refused as a potential custodian, it's not going to happen. I'm sorry.

The best you can do is get your own solicitor and try again - but it's very unlikely to happen given the reasons why you were refused in the first place.

I agree, I realize you care for the kids but 3 kids is alot to take on so social services has the final determination on who gets custody. How old are the kids? what kind of a relationship do you have with them? You can certainly petition for visitation, but nobody on this board has any idea what UK family law says. You need to speak to a solicitor.

thank you for ur reply the kids are 5,3 and 2 and i have a very close relationship with them all i took care of them so much they prefered to be wi me rather than any other family including parents,i took care of the eldest from the min she got home till she was bout 18mnths old when her mother got into gear so to speak.

Then unfortunately your situation does look grim - at those young ages, their wishes and preferences likely won't be considered.
