Hi,
I have a friend that has lived in Texas all his life and is going through a divorce. Him and his wife have been seperated for 4+ years and he is wandering how long it will take for the judge to sign the papers. If he is going to have to wait the full 90 days or if the judge would go ahead and grant the divorce as soon as he files the papers. His wife have already signed the papers and now they need the judge to sign the papers. Can you tell me what will take place once he files the papers Please.
Thank you, and God Bless

The judge can waive the waiting period if both parties agree.

Therefore, when the judge signs the paper's you're divorced on the spot.
