Termination

I am currently up for termination because I took 4 sick days off in a row. They are calling it insubordination because my boss did not recieve my message on 2 of those days. I have proof of my attempt on one of those days. He is a new boss and is looking to bring in someone from within the company that was in a different division and has been with the company longer
 
Not sure what to tell you. If you made the calls you should have a record of them. If you have a doctor's diagnosis that supports your being sick then it would seem that if there is a policy in place, the company would face difficulty if it were out of order. Without more facts I'm not sure what to tell you except that with at will employment an employer can terminate employment for no reason and at any time.
