I was on a university campus for a research study and in the waiting room I gently put my hand on one side of the table (extremely gently) and it fell over and landed on my foot and broke it. The table is uber-modern and only had two legs and they had a heavy plant on one side. I have not been able to care for my infant very well and husband had to take off work to care for us both. The university said they will not cover our missed wages but will the medical expenses ($250). Can I get any settlement for the pain and suffering and missed wages?
