my brother is being taken to court for increased child support (he also works for me as a sub contractor, currently I pay him directly). Now he want to form an LLC and have me pay that. He has told me that by him forming an LLC only the money he pays himself out of the LLC is subject to the Child support amounts. (to me he is trying to hide income)
1. Can forming an LLC really prevent him from paying support on the income amounts that I pay the LLC and
2. and if 1 is true, By my relationship with him, if I now contract with an LLC (where in the past it was with him) could I be liable criminally or civil with my knowledge of why he wants to do this of helping him try to hide income?
