Suing UNION...can they strip you from membership?

Guys, does anybody know what can possibly happen when you start suing UNION. Can they strip you from their membership if you sue them? Would you eventually lose your job if you lose union membership or can you stay working for the company without the union membership?

I suggest you have your lawyer analyze your union membership agreement.

That being said, I'm guessing that Canada has laws against retaliation. Ask your lawyer about that, too.
