Status Conference/Holding question

Long story short, a loved one was transported from jail to rehab two days ago. He is still in rehab as of today, but tomorrow will be taken to court for a "Status conference", in which I think means that the date for the trial is set. After the status conference, will he be taken back to rehab or go to jail or go home?
