I have worked a 12 hour shift in a hotel with a 10 min break for soup I took onto myself to take, while watching supervisors and management taking full
meals that have worked less than half the time.
This affects other members of staff too. What can I do?
I have only worked here for about three weeks.

That depends. Breaks of any kind are not required by Federal law, and only required by about half the states. What state are you in?

This is primarily a US forum. I'm afraid none of the regulars here are experts in UK law, which is not the same as US law.

In the UK you are usually allowed a 15-20 minute break for every 6 hours you work unless you have signed something to say otherwise, the break can be a coffee break or your lunch break. This also changes for anyone who is under the age of 18 and anyone who is in transportation IE: truck drivers taxi drivers bus drivers.

For better look at U.K employment laws check direct.gov.uk sorry I can't post the full URL. But it should be able to help you more.

Hope this helps.
