In Texas if the spuuse accepts a spouse family allowance are the intitled to receive what they get in the will or do the have to pick which one they get. Thanks in advance
The family allowance is paid for their maintenance while the estate is still in probate. I would expect they are entitled to receive their inheritance when the estate is settled.
