My wife left me on June 18th. I then filed for divorce through a "non contested divorce" firm, one that we both agreed apon. She left me with all the bills including the mortgage. Since then I have been struggling with making ends meet. I agreed to pay for the divorce, just to get out of it. Once the divorce was paid off and the house put on the market to be sold, my spouse decided to get her own attourney. She was told not to sign the papers until the house was sold, so that she could get her half of the profit from the selling of the house if and when the house was sold. What is she entitled to? Since she abandoned me and left me paying everything, and that her name is on the mortgage, what is hers? Should she be helping me with the bills since she left? I never went to get legal assistance since this was an uncontested divorce, I do need to know my rights! Thank you
