My son is in the Army and due to deploy to Iraq. He is married to a German girl and they have 3 children, one he has raised since she was just weeks old and 2 they had together. The 2 they had together were born in the US. His wife is now in Germany and talking about leaving him and staying there. How will this effect the children as they are US citizens?
