Unless FRAUD was involved, private sales are protected and covered by the "as is" principle.

In other words, warranties don't apply where private car sales are concerned.

You buy a car from a private seller, its considered buying it "as is".

Buyer beware, because most private sales end up with the buyer getting SCREWED.

Inspect vehicles thoroughly prior to purchase to avoid these problems. Once money changes hands you won't likely get it back.
