small claims suit

Yes, you can be sued.

Anyone can be sued.

However, if you are sued for the acts or omissions of a business you own, that's a valid defense.

The plaintiff would have sued (and served) the wrong entity.

If I were you, if the suit is an annoyance, avoid a hassle and offer to settle.

If you feel otherwise, just wait, and if you (personally) get served; appear.

Your defense will be that YOU are not personally liable for anything, and you request the case be dismissed.

The idiot plaintiff will likely serve the corporation, and back to court you will go.

How much is your time and business reputation worth?
