First, I am tryting to find out if discovery is allowed in WI for a small claims case.
Second, if it is allowed do I simply make my discover requests to the defendant (I am the plantiff). Or do I have to usa a subpoena.
A want to get documents and have questions answered BEFORE the trial date.
The information I have read so far only details using a subpoena to get documents brought to court. Wereas I need to discover what documents the defendant has in their possession that would help my case.
