Single Mom expecting baby #2 same Father

I have many questions and I hope someone will help me with this situation.
Mother and Father were in a relationship until recently..he met someone else, not a problem, but here are some problems regarding the children.
1. Father lives in Cali.
2. Mother, first child and second on the way live in HI.
3. Child #1 just turned 2, no paternity has been established.
4. Child #2 is expected in Feb 08'.
5. Father is demanding stay overs' in Cali and has made a threat that if his wishes are not met, 'This will get ugly'.
6. Father wants to see child every other month and be a part of Child#2's pregnancy progress.
7. Mom is the one that flies Child#1 back and forth between Cali and HI to be together, until just recently.
8. Father with Mom bought a mini van for child and now Father refuses to make payments now and he wants to keep status quo with giving her $500.00 every 2 weeks and that is all.
9. Mom had to take leave due to first child and had made a loan to pay her bills. No relief from Father.
10. Mom is working, but may have to stop due to pregnancy of Child #2.
11. Father grosses over $150,000.00 a year- Mom grosses $30,000.00 a year.
12. Father has informed Mom that he has spoken to an Attorney and was told that he has every right to call the shots regarding both children over visitation. Biggest concern, both parents live an ocean apart, child #1 has never been away from Mom, ever.
13. Father is a Law Enforcement Officer- no flight risk, but because child has never been away from Mom there may be some trauma due to seeing Father only every other month in HI.
14. Up until recently Mom always spoke to child #1 about Father and asking child the location of Father. But if Mom stops speaking about the Father, child will never brings it up.
15. Mom called many Family Law Attorney's and was told that this case will cost her more then $15,000.00 which Mom does not have.
If anyone can help me help this Mom it will be greatly appreciated.
Just A Mom.

Stop listening to Dad. As long as paternity was not established and there is no child support order, dad does not have to pay anything.

Time to file for child support on child number 1, and nothing can be done with #2 until the child is born, and again paternity is established.

Mom can call legal aid to see if they can help but if there is no visitation order and paternity or birth paperwork was never signed for child number 1 to establish paternity, mom generally does not have to allow Dad to see child but then again mon cannot exepct Dad to hand over $$$ then have no rights to the child.

Mom needs to call around for other attorney's or she can go to court and file for custody and she should be able to file for child support through HI CS bureau.
