Why is the summons noted as "This is not a Consumer Credit Transaction"*?

Thank you to the responder(s) for their time.

The summons might not be legitimate.

It could be the usual scam run by collections bottom feeders to trick you into paying them.

Contact the court and enquire if it is for real!!!

The summons is official per the county clerks office, served by county sheriff. This summons is for a unpaid medical bill. Did I just answer my own question? "MEDICAL BILL"

If you know it to be legitimate, then you are required to obey it.

Make sure you are in court as it directs.

Be ready to defend yourself on the matter or ready to pay what you owe.

Thanks....

Thanks ArmyJudge,
Yes I am aware of the responsibilities to this summons. My question was what is the significance of the following notation on the summons: "This is not a Consumer Credit Transaction"?

Thanks again.
