I was just let go from my job as an independent contractor this weekend. The reason was breach of contract. The contract I signed had a major error in it. The start date and end date of the contract was fthe same date. Technically, my contract lasted exactly 1 day. I signed it, and made a copy of this page. When the company gave me my copy of the entire contract, they had crossed out the end date, and corrected it, without notifying me, or having me resign the revised contract. Can the company legally do this? Could I have a case against them? Thank you in advance for your advice.
