Should you get a lawyer

So to get court ordered visitation should i speak with a lawyer first, or the county attorney? It was never ordered by a judge for him to get visitation, just to pay child support.

Are you the mother of the child? Or the father's girlfriend? It's hard to tell, especially when you ask if YOU should see an attorney.

In either case, the father can probably file for visitation without an attorney by checking his state/county court website. The forms may be available online. Otherwise, he will have to retain his own attorney.
