If a professional moving company is hired and supposedly does damage to landlords parking lot while moving you, are you responsible for their actions? Landlord does not confront mover or tenant when damage happened. The landlord states that tenant is responsible for guests and invitees. Is a professional mover considered a guest or invitee? Does the landlord have a claim against the tenant or the moving company?

Check your lease agreement to see if there is a damage and responsibility clause there. I would also check the landlord/tenant laws of your state to verify if whatever the landlord is claiming falls under your state laws. Mover is considered an invitee. Good Luck!
